2017 Spirit of Volunteerism Awards

Do you know a local volunteer who shares time and talent to make the community stronger? Someone who gives back in a big way? Why not nominate them for a 2017 Spirit of Volunteerism Award. 

The annual Spirit of Volunteerism Awards, sponsored by the Helpline Center, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel & Convention Center in Rapid City. Nominations are now open through March 15. 

At the Spirit of Volunteerism Awards luncheon, every nominee will be recognized and the five Spirit of Volunteerism Award winners will be announced in the following categories – Adult (2 categories), Youth, Group and Corporate Humanitarian. Local businesses sponsoring the awards are Scull Construction, BankWest, Midco, Black Hills Energy and Regional Health. The 12 Volunteers of the Month from the past year will also be recognized by that program’s sponsor, Black Hills Urgent Care.
