Girls Inc. will be hosting our Annual Holiday Sale for our girls.  For those of you who don’t know about our sale, we accept ‘lightly’ used and unwanted items.  These items include, but are not limited to, candle holders, books, kids toys, stuffed animals, picture frames, dishes, Knick knacks, CD’s and DVD’s, men’s and boy’s items, etc.  We sell these items to the girls at a very low cost ($.05-$.75) so they are able to purchase gifts for their family members, the girls even get to wrap their gifts here before they take them home.  The girls feel so proud to be able to pick out that very special gift for their family members, it is quite the sight to see the glow and excitement on their faces!  With the money we make during this Holiday Sale, we will purchase gifts for the Angel Tree or other nonprofit organizations to help those in need.

This wonderful event goes full circle, we all get rid of unwanted/unused items, girls are able to give gifts to their family members and children in the community receive gifts as well.  I couldn’t imagine a better and more rewarding way to get rid of those items that we all have cluttering our closets.  Last year Girls Inc. raised over $282.00 and we were able to purchase 19 Angel Tree gifts!!  I are invite to participate in this wonderful event.  We typically have about 150 girls that shop for their families.

We do not want any clothes, these are just too hard to manage.  If you have items you can drop them off at Girls Inc.120 E Adams any time from now until December 11th (our sale is Dec. 12th – 16th).

Thank you all for your support.

Happy Holidays!!
